Harold Furniss, Illustrator

Something worth preserving -- an illustration taken from Ebay by Harold Furniss, caricaturist, illustrator, and editor of the magazines Famous Fights and Famous Crimes. The pencil note says this is from a Supplement to the Illustrated London News in 1885 which I find highly unlikely -- although not impossible.

Below are two Furniss illustrations from Famous Fights courtesy Nick McBride. Harold Furniss is often mistaken for ‘Harry’ Furniss, the famous Punch Illustrator.
